This kit adopts the fluorescence immunochromatography method and is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of Cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) content in human whole blood, serum, or plasma samples.The test results can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic basis for Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) and are also applicable for the condition assessment of myocardial injury-related diseases (such as myocarditis and heart failure).

This kit is based on the combination of the double antibody sandwich method and fluorescence immunochromatography technology:

1.The Test line (T line) of the nitrocellulose membrane in the test cassette is coated with anti-cTnI monoclonal antibody, and the Control line (C line) is coated with goat anti-mouse IgG antibody; the fluorescent microspheres are conjugated with another strain of anti-cTnI monoclonal antibody.

2.After the sample (whole blood/serum/plasma) is diluted with buffer, it is added dropwise to the sample well of the test cassette, and the sample moves toward the absorbent pad under chromatographic action.

3.If the sample contains cTnI, it will bind to the fluorescent microsphere-conjugated antibody to form a complex. When the complex reaches the T line, it specifically binds to the coated antibody on the membrane to form a "antibody-cTnI-fluorescent antibody" double antibody complex. The fluorescence signal intensity of the T line is positively correlated with the cTnI concentration in the sample.

4.The unbound fluorescent antibody continues to move to the C line and binds to the goat anti-mouse IgG antibody to form a fluorescent band, which is used to verify the validity of the test cassette.

5.After inserting the test cassette into the supporting fluorescence immunoassay analyzer, the instrument calculates the specific concentration of cTnI in the sample by reading the fluorescence signal intensity of the T line and C line and comparing it with the standard curve.
